In this podcast, I discuss a recent AdAge article entitled, “Marketers, Please Stop Calling me Latinx” by Cuban-American, Diana Brooks. I talk about why I believe the article didn’t go nearly far enough in challenging “Latinx”. Also, I’ll explore what’s really behind this term (critical gender theory). Finally, we’ll highlight the hypocrisy of how the far left, who, ironically, complains about the “colonization” of other cultures by the West, is busy doing exactly that (colonizing) by imposing “Latinx” on Hispanics - via corporate DEI programs - despite the fact that Hispanics overwhelmingly reject the term.
