McDonald's Partners With White House To Promote Vaccines. Cuz They Care About Health!
Another corporation doing right by the American people.
And now for a marketing effort that is sure to warm your heart this Holiday Season.
According to USA Today, “McDonald's will soon be serving its customers a friendly reminder to get their COVID-19 vaccine.”
Now, I bet it’s the first time you heard someone say you should get vaccinated. Well, don’t worry, McDonalds is all over it!
Why? Because they care about your health, obviously.
The fast food chain cares so much, in fact, it partnered with the Biden administration on its “We Can Do This” campaign to help share vaccine information with its customers across the country.
Now, a cynic might point out that perhaps the White House should partner up with a company that sells something other than empty calories which, over time, will help kill you.
Might also be good if the White House pointed out that upping your exercise, increasing your Vitamin D intake and keeping your weight down would be wise during a pandemic.
But that would make sense. And we all know by now, nothing about COVID policy makes sense anymore.
Speaking of non-sensical corporate gobbledygook, here’s what Genna Gent, McDonald’s USA vice president for global public policy and government relations had to say about McD’s marketing effort to keep people healthy by promoting vaccinations:
“We all want to protect ourselves and our loved ones and be together with our communities again. McDonald’s is excited to be doing our part for the people we serve, providing them with simple information that can help keep them safe,” Gent said in a statement.
I agree, Genna! That’s why I decided to help McDonald’s get the word out.

So, I did some digging on the CDC’s very own website and discovered one of the single biggest underlying health risks for Covid is, you’ll never guess… that’s right, obesity.
Turns out, obesity makes surviving a bout with COVID much harder.
Now, I’m assuming McDonald’s and the White House must of overlooked this fact. Easy mistake to make, right? They say the best ideas are the ones sitting right in front of you!
Anyways, why not tell people about the threat of obesity by using the CDC’s own words on McDonald’s very own packaging?
Coming into the holidays, I find it so comforting to know McDonald’s worries so much about my health, especially during Covid-19.
So, McDonalds, here’s some free ideas. I expect I’ll see these in a Happy Meal very soon. Because you care!
